Last month, I got in touch with Mr. John Taylor, the neighbor whose lovely product so enthused me. He kindly sold me a fat ounce and I've been burning it since then. Now, there's less than 8 grams left, I can say a few more words about it, and post a few more pictures.
Mr John says this is outdoor grown, which makes the cleanliness and flavor all the more impressive. It can be difficult to avoid the flavors of dust and other pollen on outdoor bud; especially if corn tassels happen anywhere nearby.
There's none of those flavors here. The stems haven't got the toughness or the woody flavor I expect from outdoor, either. Mr John showed me pictures of their feild; they'd managed to sheild the plants from the heavy winds and keep them fully lit. Ingenious arrangment.
I had other things keeping me from pursuing the photography this month, and so by the time I came to take pictures, I had burnt all the best looking, most photogenic flowers. Oops. I shall have to acquire some more.
Truly lovely stuff.
