The rural happiness paradox in developed countries - ScienceDirect
The higher subjective well-being among rural residents in developed countries could be termed the rural happiness paradox for two reasons. First, rural-to-urban migration has been a megatrend ever since 1900 (UN, 2006, 2019). Second, rural residents in developing countries consistently report lower subjective well-being than urban residents (Easterlin et al., 2011; Requena, 2016). Only a few studies have examined the possible reasons behind the rural happiness paradox (Sørensen, 2014; Piper, 2015; Morrison and Weckroth, 2018; Okulicz-Kozaryn and Mazelis, 2018). These few studies have examined various socioeconomic, environmental, and psychological factors that might explain the rural happiness paradox, but none of the studies have managed to completely explain the rural happiness paradox by the proposed explanatory factors.

‘I am being investigated by my university for saying women have vaginas’ - spiked
Lisa Keogh, a law student at Abertay, is currently being investigated by the university authorities for comments she made in seminars. She says her fellow students complained after she said that women are born with female genitalia, and that trans women should not compete in women’s mixed martial arts. For uttering such heresies she could even face expulsion — the university is reportedly deciding her fate later today.

Florida governor signs bill to ban Big Tech 'deplatforming'
The bill has a few different unconstitutional provisions, but the one getting the most attention is that it bans non-theme park associated websites from removing content or accounts from people running for office. There are also the ridiculous transparency clauses that have become stupidly popular of late, and which really serve as a smokescreen to allow users to sue websites for being moderated.
