Why the originally delayed to the 12th was never clear: and now rushing the deadline? Clinton announced "Life on Mars" on a bad news day too, I seems to recall. President Biden will share the Webb Telescope's first image today
President Joe Biden will release one of Webb's first images Monday at the White House at 5:30 p.m. ET. The preview event, during which NASA Administrator Bill Nelson will also share remarks, will stream live on NASA's website. The rest of the high-resolution color images will make their debut as planned on Tuesday, July 12, one of which "is the deepest image of our universe that has ever been taken," according to Nelson.

Are We Looking At Another Civil War?
Leftist critics and their fellow travelers at garbage outlets like The Bulwark will no doubt lie and claim that I am somehow advocating what I am warning against – sadly, this kind of bad faith refusal to engage and debate honestly has become all too common today and itself promotes conflict by eliminating the possibility of resolving disputes through reason. It leaves the exercise of raw power as the only means to solve problems, a situation common in much of the rest of the world. But we must look the monster of political violence in its eyes if we hope to defeat it. The way to bring America back to greatness need not be force. We have the Constitution, and it gives us the answers to all our questions.

How did the pandemic affect jails?
From March to June 2020, about 208,500 people in jail received expedited release, about 28% of the jail population. The bulk of that decrease came in March and April, as pandemic closures began in many states. Expedited release reduced jail crowding, with occupied bed spaces falling 21% by June.

New study: COVID booster significantly delays end of infection.
At five days post-infection, less than 25 percent of unvaccinated people were still contagious, whereas around 70 percent of boosted people were still carrying viable virus particles. For those partially vaccinated, around 50 percent were still contagious at this point. Even more strikingly, at ten days post-infection, one-third of boosted people (31 percent) were found to still be carrying live, culturable virus. By contrast, just six percent of unvaccinated people were still contagious at day 10.
