The more time moves forward, the closer we are inching to a one-world government. Or is democracy too dangerous to be left in the hands of the people.

this hike changed my perspective. It taught me that my peers desire to ascend and have a say in the world and that people who shop 5000€ handbags in the streets of Cannes aren't really the problem. Instead, the problems accumulate among those who can afford to buy entire peninsulas that take two hours to encircle. Those who dominate and corrupt nation-states and those that live a lifestyle not even conceivable by mere mortals like me. Those that wage wars and finance their godlike island utopias on the backs of the people below them.

New York City is forcing some cars to slow down
In a six-month trial, New York City has equipped 50 municipal vehicles with "intelligent speed assistance" — software that can make a car obey the speed limit. Why it matters: While you probably haven't heard of intelligent speed assistance — ISA — you're about to: In July, the European Union mandated its use in new models of vehicles; in 2024, it'll be compulsory in all new cars sold there.
- And in July, they reported that these would be advisory systems, unable to actually interfere with the control of the vehicle. Not that anyone believed it.

How I Overcame Anxiety - Richard Hanania's Newsletter
As someone who was not good with women, or people more generally, the message that men could improve themselves socially was very appealing. Upon reading Strauss’ book, I bought Mystery’s DVD series. I found that PUA shortcuts generally didn’t work, but that the advice they gave for improving one’s “inner game” was generally helpful. As I set out on my own journey of self-improvement, I came to the radical position that “inner game” was pretty much the entire game. The specific tricks and lines taught by PUAs were generally useless, but the advice to become focused on self-improvement and the mental modules they provided were extremely valuable.
