Oh sure, they will often couch their cluelessness in obfuscation and kind speak, but that only makes those of us at the sharp end feel more despondent. We lose trust in our institutions, in authority and in hope itself.

NRLCA said impacted carriers will receive 65% of their gross pay via money order this Friday. That figure is a rough estimate of a rural carrier’s average take-home pay.
