Water vapor is the most potent greenhouse gas known. On every ocean shore, without end, millions of times every single day, the tide crashes agaisnt the shore and forces millions of tons of water into the air.
Most of it falls back down still liquid, but if you've ever been to the sea shore you've experienced the humidity firsthand. The cumulative impact of all those waves has been immense.
There has been discussion of "sand shortages". Beach erosion is a perennial concern to those living near them. Both these problems would be almost eliminated if there were no tides.
Therefore: we must Destroy the Moon. At least re-locate it so its effect on our planet is reduced. It may be possible to use this effort to simultaneously achieve the goal of straightening the axis, as well.
