(PDF) Functional Imaging with Multi-Tap CMOS Pixels
Two-tap CMOS pixels have been developed for time-of-flight range image sensors1)-3). Ando and Kimachiproposed a time correlation image sensor in Ref. 4. Intheir experimental demonstration a three-tap pixel isused to implement weighted integration using current-domain modulation. In this paper, applications of multi-tap CMOS pixels with four or more taps are mentionedin terms of time-division-multiplexed imaging (TDMI)and coded exposure (CE).

We often fantasize about being confronted with a big moral dilemma, so we can prove our morality to ourselves and others. But we should mostly be glad we don’t get what we wish for, as we are often quite wrong about how we would actually act.

The Medium pivot is the message - Medialyte
In shutting down its owned and operated editorial arm yesterday, Medium succumbed to the same market factors that are increasingly guiding the decline of the publishing industry writ large. Namely: That the same amenities that once advantaged publications — newsrooms full of journalists, teams of support staff, august office buildings — are now in many ways liabilities.
The New York Times, no doubt motivated at least in part by the fear of losing all its top talent, sent a memo to its staff yesterday, informing them that all side projects — including newsletters — must undergo a vetting process before they are allowed to continue.
